Este curso está diseñado para personal de Help Desk responsable de mantener usuarios con configuraciones Lotus Notes Basic y Standard

Objetivos

Este curso comienza con una discusión técnica de cómo Notes y Domino trabajan juntos. El curso ofrece una aproximación práctica para solventar la mayoría de las solicitudes de usuarios y los problemas de las estaciones de trabajo, pero al mismo tiempo ayuda a entender cómo escalar los problemas al administrador de Domino o al desarrollador de aplicaciones.
Durante el mismo se aprenderá a:

  • instalar y configurar clientes Notes con la configuración Standard o Basic
  • configurar Notes para varios usuarios y para usuarios itinerantes (roaming)
  • resolver problemas de conectividad de red, acceso a los servidores Domino y problemas de acceso a bases de datos
  • entender y resolver problemas con los ID de usuario Notes
  • configurar el correo Notes y facilitar a los usuarios el correcto direccionamiento de los mensajes
  • resolver problemas de transferencia y reparto de correo
  • resolver problemas de la Base de datos de Correo, incluyendo borrado de mensajes accidental, reducir el tamaño del archivo para ajustarse a la cuota y rediseñar la base de datos
  • crear vistas y carpetas privadas
  • resolver y prevenir los problemas relacionados con los documentos
  • exportar información desde una vista y crear un archivo de combinación de correspondencia e importar la información en una vista para crear documentos
  • crear agentes sencillos para automatizar Notes
  • dar soporte a usuarios móviles que utilizan Notes cuando están desconectados de la red

Audiencia

Este curso está diseñado para el personal de Soporte a Usuarios que dan servicio directo a los usuarios Notes. Estas personas no tienen permisos administrativos en el servidor Domino pero son los responsables de la instalación, configuración y soporte de los usuarios Notes.
